What's your favourite video game?

Hard to nail it down for me. Not played any new games (apart from GTA5) for a few years so this may be all a bit dated.
Metal Gear Solid 2 on PS2 has to be up there though. Storyline is brilliant, graphics are unreal, it's like watching a film. Only issue I had is it seemed to short and was over too quickly with not much replay value. The whole sneaking around taking out Russians was great though.
Goldeneye on the N64, dunno if any game is every gonna match that first "buzz" of playing. Also Zelda 64 on same consol, was amazing at the time, could even play it now for 18 hours a day and not get bored. Seems like there's always something new to do or see.
GTA5 as mentioned, obviously. And the original Super Mario World. And Super Mario Land 2 on the game boy.

Absolutely impossible game, over 100 levels and no real save facility, plus you only have a default of 3 lives.
Dug my SNES out a few years back and tried out some of the passwords I found online and none of them worked.
Really fun to play game but just so school-shooting-inducingly impossible.

GTA V is my all time great. In true geeky cult fashion, me and my mates have a Sons of Cockneys crew in the game with full patch to boot. (PS4, but we have an X1 chapter!)
Max Payne on the PS2
Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Command & Conquer and Tomb Raider on the PS1.
Halo 3, Modern Warfare series, MK9, GTA IV, GTA Lost and the Damned.

Was it one of the iss games on super nes that had the knock off classic names rather than players of that time.

Forgot about NHL. Think it was 98 on the PlayStation. What a game.
